Gastroenterology Specialist Care will remain open throughout the festive season apart from the main Public Holidays.

We are closed from 3pm on Christmas Eve, on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day only. 

While some Practitioners will be taking leave, the Admin team will be available to assist with enquiries and booking appointments.

About Gastroenterology Specialist Care

Gastroenterology Specialist Care (GSC) was founded in 2021 with the aim to support Gastroenterologists servicing patients across a broad area of suburban Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Independent Gastroenterologists work across multiple locations, consulting and performing endoscopic procedures locally within each region.

The GSC admin team support the Gastroenterologists onsite when consulting and from home offices at other times, thus providing a high level of service and care to patients in their own community.

Practice Nurses provide expert advice and assistance to patients.

Patients benefit from a full range of gastroenterological services including consultation, endoscopy, Fibroscan, and Capsule endoscopy.

GSC is unique in it’s practice model. Doctors and the admin team balance work and life, working in areas that are close to home, supporting their community. The admin team have a hybrid on-site/WFH working model. The team get together regularly for social functions, including giving back to those in need through community volunteering, such as cooking with FareShare and planting trees with Treely
