GSC Admin Team
All members of the GSC admin team have had many years of experience in the medical industry across various fields of medicine.
GSC’s unique style of practice means that our team works onsite with the doctors for consulting sessions, and then from home-based offices at other times. This allows our staff to provide a high level of service and care to patients in their own community, whilst maintaining a great work/life balance.
Shellie Fellows – Practice Manager
Shellie has worked in medical administration for most of her career and has over 15 years experience as a Practice Manager. She has worked in various medical fields including Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Plastic Surgery and General Practice before joining GSC in 2023.
Shellie’s role with GSC covers all facets of managing a busy specialist practice and oversees the GSC Admin team to ensure patients are receiving the highest level of care. Shellie juggles the day to day functions of the practice with streamlining systems and future planning, to ensure the practitioners who work with GSC are best able to look after their patients, and GSC is best able to support them in doing so. Shellie also manages many aspects of the business side of the practice.
Shellie is a busy mum of two sons, has three dogs and a cat, and an abundance of wild birds that come to feed on her verandah at her home in the Dandenong Ranges. When not at work she enjoys camping and visiting wineries in the nearby Yarra Valley.
Claire Hemming – Business Development Manager & GP Liaison
Claire has over 12 years experience in Medical Administration covering Specialities such as Gastroenterology, Colorectal Surgery, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, General Medicine, Oncology, Gynaecology, Urology, Psychiatry and Allied Health.
Claire has a passion for creating strong connections and driving business growth. She brings a wealth of experience to the table, combining her business knowledge with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape.
With her exceptional interpersonal skills, Claire excels in building bridges between an organisation and the medical community. She plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall patient experience by fostering relationships between the Specialists and General Practitioners.
In her downtime, Claire is a mum to her young daughter, and enjoys camping and trips to the theatre to watch the Ballet.
Kel Beverley – Theatre and Billing Manager
Kel has been with GSC since its inception in 2021. Kel has worked in medical administration for over 15 years, initially working in general practice before moving into specialist practice. While at GSC, Kel has been involved in all aspects of practice management and business development, before moving into her current role as Theatre and Finance manager.
Kel is dedicated to patient care and enjoys liaising with other medical professionals, hospital facilities, and patients alike to ensure a smooth transition from appointment to procedure, and patient care management beyond that.
Outside of work, Kel is a Mum of a young family and has completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in other medical fields. Her passions are her love for animals, renovation and nurturing relationships with friends and family.
Kylie Jeffery – Senior Administrator
Kylie has been with GSC since 2022. She is well known to many GSC patients in the various locations she works at, and her positive and helpful attitude ensures all patients receive the highest level of care.
Kylie works across many areas of GSC, mentoring the Admin team and supporting the Management team.
Kylie looks after Capsule Endoscopy patients and is also the first point of contact for all Infusion patients.
Prior to coming to GSC, Kylie has worked in the medical field for over 15 years, specialising in Emergency Medicine and Gastroenterology administration.
Kylie is a mum to 2 adult children. In her downtime, Kylie loves exploring new and interesting walking tracks with her beautiful Border Collie, and spending hours in the garden.
Administration Team
GSC’s Admin team are highly trained and capable of assisting patients on their medical journey. They are available to answer patient queries, or seek responses from the Practitioners where needed. The Admin team are contactable by phone or email, and guide patients through the process of booking appointments and procedures, and can provide information on appointments, fees, fasting and other general questions.
The Admin team are Nicole, Sears, Natasha, Michelle, Harriet, Arya, Saba, Rachel, Ayesha, Teresa and Aroosa. Iqra provides support to our Business Development Manager.
