Dr Natalie Ngu is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist
Natalie is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Monash University, and specialist training at Alfred Health and Monash Health, followed by further experience in liver disease at the Australian Liver Transplant Unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, NSW. She is a PhD candidate through Monash University coordinating a trial in multidisciplinary management of chronic liver disease, and has presented research at local and international conferences.
Natalie performs gastroscopy and colonoscopy and has broad interests including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, iron deficiency anaemia, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and other gastroenterological and liver conditions. She prioritises a person-centred focus, active listening, and compassionate care.
