Dr Manjeet Sandhu is a Gastroenterologist and IBD specialist

Dr Manjeet is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine with Honours from University of Melbourne before going on to complete her PhD in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) at Monash University.

She has extensive training in all areas of gastroenterology with special interests in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), iron deficiency, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD), bowel cancer screening and liver disease.

Dr Manjeet consults and performs endoscopic procedures throughout Melbourne’s East and South Eastern suburbs, and central Gippsland.   She also holds a public appointment at Monash Health.

Patients are seen within a short time frame for initial consultation, with procedures generally being booked within 2-3 weeks following consultation (if required). 

With low/no gap fees and minimal wait times for privately insured endoscopy, as well as a public appointment at Monash, Dr Manjeet is able to provide care to all patients needing gastroenterological consultation and intervention.

Direct access endoscopy is available for suitable patients.  Telehealth consultations are available.

Dr Manjeet has a large area of consulting and procedure locations, particularly in the Eastern and South Eastern suburbs and Gippsland, as well as closer to Melbourne.
